Qualified as Theatre Designer and Model Maker initially designing stage sets and costumes for local touring productions. Life eventually took me down a different path.
The need to create never left. Joining a local art group made me fall back in love with painting.
This website helps me share that joy.

Like any artist who likes to experiment you develop skills in multiple mediums. Having been lucky enough to study Art & Design at Birmingham Institute of Art I have a broad range of techniques under my belt from Textiles, Printmaking to Pottery.
The material I choose is very much driven by the subject I’m working on.

I’ve always loved nature and being out in the fresh air surrounded by the green rolling hills of the countryside around me.
My subject matter spans plants, wildlife, pets and more recently portraiture, although that's still a work in progress.
Inspiration can come from anywhere !
